Send some warm thoughts my way
Pete
where there’s smoke there’s forum fire
I put up a shot for you in the things category, Pete.
At least when it's cold you can stack more clothes on but when it's hot there's only so much you can take off :^)

I feel for you. It's snowing in south Louisiana right now -- and we don't even own warm clothes down here !!
That looks cold....!
Warm and sunny here today....but I wish it would get cold and rain.
I always wondered what a white christmas would be like....
Hurray! It's going to snow this weekend in my home town! I love the snow, and I love taking pictures in it.

aprille - and I have just the opposite, would love to spend xmas on a beach :)
Having experienced the holidays and weather in Minn., NY and Mass., I now live in California. Please send cold weather pictures, it let's me know why it's so expensive here, but worth it.
the first big storm of the season! horray!
(sorry for the low quality, was a quicksnap posted from my iPhone.
Our snow here in Louisiana was so yesterday (actually, so several days ago). It was in the 60s this morning.

Aren't you guys getting dumped on today in Utah County, QP? I'm hoping I can get off work a bit early before it hits us up here (but I might as well not fight it because there's no escape tomorrow).

A few years ago, my uncle was in an ice storm in Texas on his motorcycle. He was miserable because he had to sit it out since the roads were so dangerous. Those things are bad news, aren't they? But it sure makes for some beautiful photos with everything encased in ice.
BTW, 60F is sounding really nice right now. Any way we could convince the fellows at Copenhagen to just let us keep pumping out the CO2?
We got snow flurries in Austin on Friday... Crazy stuff. Maybe this will be the year my snowman can finally make his triumphant return (he's been MIA since 1984).
Does it only count if the snowman is in your yard? It looks like Pete's got enough snow for everyone.
It's been a decent storm today, mby 6 inches total. There was about 3 on my car when I left for work and about 3 inches has fallen while I have been working.
Fortunately I get off work before rush hour :)
It snowed in NY, but it didn't snow in Long Island. So no dice for me. Instead, it rained like crazy and flooded all the streets.
Well today in San Diego is rather stormy; rainy and windy and I love it! Can't really go out and shoot in it but shooting will be so much better now that's it's happening.
As another San Diegan I can tell you it snowing in the nearby mountains. Despite what you may have heard, it's not all warn and sunny in Southern California.
Next week is promising warmer weather, but in the mean time:
Pete
