f/2.8-4 DC Macro OS HSM. Thats AF-S and VR equivalent. Priced at $449. I like the focal range but damn it it's a sigma :^( Image quality has to be outstanding for me to consider it but that price is nice.

The old version was supposedly better than the nikon 18-70. and I thought my 18-70 was great, IQ wise.
