I don't see this happening to me anytime soon, and hopefully not for the rest of my life. I simply love photography.
But when I think about my past I have gone through some "dark ages" where I've lost interest in photography for months at a time.
If I lost interest in photography at this point I think it would be disastrous. Technically my parents have spent a few thousand dollars in photography equipment for me (I mean even though a lot of it is from my allowance it still came from THEM) because they know I will use it well. But my dad brought up the other day that he didn't want to spend a lot of money on my first digital camera, the Coolpix 3100 (which he got as a demo camera after it was discontinued) because he didn't know whether I would really use the camera or just for a week and then lose interest in it. After all, I was still a young kid. But if I lost interest in photography now, it would be a different story. After begging for all those cameras, lenses, and whatnot, I think it would be devastating.
