Here are some random shots that are very simple, but feature a strong black contrast. Some of them have already been posted...so forgive me for double posting them!

Alright, so it's not technically a photo, but I was trying out the video mode on my D90 today. I really messed the song up, but it was kind fun recording videos on a DSLR.

"I told Bill that if they move my desk one more time, then, then I'm, I'm quitting, I'm going to quit. And, and I told Don too, because they've moved my desk four times already this year, and I used to be over by the window, and I could see the squirrels, and they were married..."
For those who have no idea the quotes are from the movie "Office Space".

Not sure if I've posted this one yet:

The ampersand of Love And Lost; Seattle, Washington21. Roy McMakin
Love & Loss
2005–2006
40’ x 24’An artist, furniture maker and architect, Roy McMakin’s work blurs the boundaries between these disciplines and amplifies tensions between form, function and meaning. Full of visual and verbal puns, Love & Loss commissioned specifically for the Olympic Sculpture Park, includes benches that are functional and meaningful. As seating made of words, these benches speak. A tree forms the “v” of love, which will blossom seasonally and lose its leaves, a reminder of nature’s cycling that mirrors human experience.
