Here is a picture of what I woke up to:
Pete
where there’s smoke there’s forum fire
Here is Vancouver Christmas Morning, Lost Lagoon Beside our house. It was a beautiful Sunny Day here.
I couldn't decide if the moon is a thing or a place. I went with place based on the foreground mountains. This is actually from two exposures of the same scene, combined in photoshop.
Great processing jonny!
@ Pacific Eagle, as I stated on flickr I really enjoyed your foggy series.
Here's a 12 image pano at 28mm and f/4.2 taken on Dec 19th.
great capture jonny
Cool picture Regulator, where was it taken from, I mean which building
Pete
Taken from Nexen.
A moon back at you Johnny
Gentoo, you had me completely fooled! Regulator, now where are the bird pics? While we're waiting, that's a great panorama. What do you use to stitch them?
Nice, Monty. I've wondered about shots like that. Do you expose for the unlit part of the moon or somewhere between lit and unlit? And then how do you avoid the lens flare from the bright crescent in the rest of your frame?
Looks good Gentoo and Monty.
Here's an other panorama. Titled: I'd Rather Look This Way
I think you must ask the lens flare question from my equipment and in terms of exposure, I overexposed the crescent a bit and this was the result. The stars in the shot have been a bit "emphasised".
A wintery shot
Thanks regulator. Means a lot coming from the master of building photos himself.
