My 2 month old, Evan. I am finding photographing a newborn to be a little tricky. Any tips?

Jessi try different angles, like close up shots of feet, hands, or have them do activities they like to do, don't try to make them them pose, wait for them to pose for you

Hey Jessi I hope you didn't lay Evan down on a floor mat to shoot his portrait! ;^)
Seriously though, baby pictures are best done near a window or outdoors with natural light. Camera flash should be kept to a minimum. Also be sure to take pictures with your baby! He'll thank you for it when he's older.Posted 3 years ago # -

Hahaha, actually, it's my hand throwing my hair then putting my hand down really fast and hitting the remote =p

Great hair technique, Aprille. I wouldn't have guessed that's a self-portrait.
What a beautiful baby, Jessi! Take a lot of photos (I'm sure you need that advice ;-) and find out what you like best.

You're right.
Aprille - You make the coolest self portraits that I have ever seen. I LOVE the pony tail and the rain shots. Just really well done and cool.
Thanks everyone for the input.

Who is that Niko?
Nice picture though :^) I really need to try out those types of cameras/lenses sometime. I think I saw a Diana Kit in an Adorama catalog—let me see here...
LOL, I'll add this to my list of things to do in the summer. Some Diana's are medium format, right?
