Ok, so I'm not exactly sure where to post this now that we've segmented the photo a day thread, but I snapped this outside the Dog & Duck pub here in Austin.
I'm posting it here because 1. I think its hilarious & 2. Presumeably the guy who drives this thing would make for a good people shot. One of the things I hate about iPhone photography is that it's very hard to get precise framing... once you get things how you want you have to hit the on-screen button, which always moves my shot slightly.
No big deal except you don't really have any pixels to work with for cropping.

I think we need one more category - Things

adamz, the morning or evening sun reflection really tells the tale of the picture. Marvelous shot!

Adamz- I wish I wasn't so afraid of taking pictures of random people. This is great.
Willis- I love the colors and contrast here. Crazy car! Haha
Is it annoying that the focus is on the window and not the person? I think I kind of like it for some reason.

I think your photo is fine as is aprille.

aprille: I like it too... It reminds me of the 70's for some reason.

Trento, Italy
That fellow wasn't to happy when he saw me taking that picture and came right at me with a grumpy face. Averted possible confrontation by taking some building shots around him while he got closer :)Posted 3 years ago # -
Cousin's wedding (the vignetting is probably too much and I forgot I was using f/1.8 so it's not the sharpest photo lol):

And what we saw outside afterwards:

Glad you got it figured out Skid. Looks like fraew took a picture of the same place from the outside and you from the inside :^) They look good together, almost like a story is being told with just pictures.

Thanks for your help. The bar I went to is a total dive bar that looks like crap on the outside, but has awesome blues bands playing there.

Sounds like a place Willis, adamz, and I could get lost in :^) Whenever we're in town we're stopping by and you're buying! ;^)
OH and wind I forgot to ask, is that guy with the pigeons dead?!

nice place skid :)
tiongsonf - almost like a pin-up girl :)
wind - I really like PP on the first ("hands") shot, nice colors, the softness is ok in this kind of picture IMHO
regulator - another "Nike" commercial photo, really good job
aprille - Your photo is simply great, very nice perspective - uncommon for this kind of shots, and works here really good, nice lights, I love the way this guy stands out from the background ; as for taking pictures of random ppl, well... You just need to have a long lens, and be able to run fast :P but seriously most of ppl really love to take pictures, and most of the times You either just have to smile and once they smile back You know that You can take a snap or two; I know that some of You will not agree but I never ask for a permission (not in a formal way at least), if I feel that someone might have something against than I don't shoot... and I always have some candies for kids, as they love it - especially in remote parts of the world

About the pigeon man...I'm pretty sure he was alive lol. Pretty nasty stuff though.
All these photos make me wanna try my hand at more street photography.
