Here I am in the office working on an appeal brief the day after Thanksgiving. Really not motivated. So, I need a boost. Anyone here take motorcycle pictures? Let's see some.

Not sure what kind of bikes you like so here's a mixed bag of them I shot this year with my D60.

I've been meaning to go to my local motorcycle museum. Hopefully they allow photography.

What's this blink of death?

Brightening my day with the bikes guys, thanks.
Bland - I pretty much like any bikes - prefer the kind you can actually thrash in curves over those that are all (mostly) bling.Posted 3 years ago # -
NSX some D70 cameras have a defect referred to as the Green-Blinking-Light-Of-Death or GBLOD. It's when the small green light that flashes when images are being saved to the memory card stays blinking or gets stuck "on". The camera locks up and will no longer function. Nikon is aware of the problem and will repair the D70 at no cost even if it's out of warranty. Minus shipping and handling that is.

Wow, that sucks. So it's sort of like Microsoft's RROD. :(
Except that Microsoft's customer policy is way worse than that of Nikon's.

That's OK I sent the D70 in for repairs and it was fixed no problem. It was much easier than sending my Sigma 14mm back to the repair shot THREE times (twice even before I left the camera store at pickup) before they sent a different one as a replacement. But the D70 has done me well except for that one hicup.
