Was lucky enough to shoot JB over the weekend ,
instead of 24-70,70-200 and a 300 f2.8
I decided to bring one lens a 28-300 on my d4.

That poor D4...I hope it doesn't think it is an under age Coolpix ;)
I was surprised how it moved out of focus so much. Quite good quality all considering less than ideal situation.
What settings where you using?

Truth be told, I actually have the Nikon 28-300mm VR for my D800. When all I want is a general purpose lens on the camera it fits the bill.
