Chat is implemented - this is just for testing to see if it will be useful and manageable - just scroll down to the bottom of this page.

Implemtning our own chat feature may not be that easy (unless there is already a plugin for it), but I may be able to embed a third party chat solution on the main page. In the worst case you will have to register one more time for the chat function. This could also bring some troubles with moderation - I will research and report back.

Ted, I just thought it could be nice to actually talk in a live conversation. Skype is not bad, but you have to have the other persons info, and most are not into giving out too much personal info.

OK, all you guys in charge, I know we have the IM function, has anyone thought about a chat room addition to the forum? It would be very cool if we could all talk to each other live. (Well maybe most live, no Hasselblad/Canon people)
Just an Idea, what do you guys think?
