Anyone got any bargain gems that they've discovered over the years that they are willing to share?

First up, the Sigma 24mm f2.8 Super Wide II. I picked up one of these off eBay last year for about £45 and have been using it on my D7000. The lens is autofocus, and works no problem with Nikon bodies with a focus motor. I've just purchased a D800 and was a little afraid on how this would perform on FX. However, the lens performs well wide open, with just a small loss in contrast in the corners; better when stopped down.

Pros:
- Cheap - you should be able to pick one up for around £50.
- Excellent close-focus ability; because it is wide angle it provides superb perspectives close up.
- Lightweight.

Cons:
- Noisy whirring focus.
- Lens hood: clip on variety from Sigma.
