On the blog today, the artist's view of a possible Nikon EVIL camera shows the lens as "ophtalmic"…

What do you think the artist referred to ?

Ophtalmic really means something related to the eye, so, in my humble opinion, all lenses are ophtalmic, but I may have missed something… Any ideas ???…
