I've cleaned up this thread a little bit, sorry if some of Yours posts ended up in trash.

Niko, after last time I've closed some threads and got some negative feedback I've decided to be more gentle this time... but with some trolls this simply doesn't work. Next time will do my job better. Once again sorry guys for letting this to happen - next time will check the forum more often and send my girl to doctor alone :)

I wonder if anyone has ever enforced a "Bait and Switch" law on an internet retailer. I get it for Brick & Mortar, because you are potentially driving across town to buy something. But clicking on an add and finding a different price on the site, happens fairly often to me. Usually, I say "Well that's dumb" and then move on to Amazon or someplace. Seems like the market would sort that out for itself. I guess if I had really slow dial up... nah, still not an inconvenience.

Either way, this is clearly a bug on Google's end.

pabnj-without bus operators the city would be in chaos, u remeber the city a couple of years ago when we went on stike dont you.....the city w/out you would be well.... normal

henryp- cant really say i've taken a cheap shot @ anyones work....dont know what anyone here does...dont care, but you & i both know that B&H is still advertising a nikon D40 for $449....but selling it for $469....& that sir is the cheapest shot of all, and a slap in the face of honesty

It's a short bus.

I am from the NYC area, and when people discuss B&H, the conversation can get quite emotional so I kind of understood where Terry was coming from in his rants as I have heard it all before. Niko was dead on when he said "it must be a NYC thing", it really is. But when a bus operator (terry067) takes a cheap shot at someone else's work truly are not be justified, and should not be tollerated in these forums. Sorry PBrigido for his comments, I know New Yorkers to be far more gracious than Jerry.

I think his account should be deleted.

Henry - Too true. I've been working on an analysis of our clients. I expected that the bulk of our service issues came from our least profitable clients, but the strength of the correlation was shocking. I suppose it makes sense though. Our most profitable clients are, themselves, very profitable, and generally have other things they can be doing that have a better yield than bugging us.

Thank you. FWIW I was a full-time professional photographer for 20+ years before I came to B&H.

I read a Harvard Business review article a while ago which said dropping a company's bottom 10% of their customer base would improve the bottom line. Dropping customers who are more expensive to service than they're worth is profitable twice -- you don't have the headache and expense and your competition does. :-)
