Yes when you should sports: You have fast action, you have to work under poor light and an useable high ISO would be very important. I really think Canon again just like with the new 7D is giving you performance numbers even if they are not that effective

Maybe they've improved within their own cameras, but I doubt it's better than Nikon's. I also wouldn't say the 1Dmk4 has useable ISO 12800 or 102400. The samples I've seen are horrible compared to the D3S.

As far as flash performance is concerned: it can't really get much better than Nikon's CLS (and the metering is amazing to, even on my N65 film camera). I have my 3rd SB-600 in the way.

What we need here is a comparison between the 2 new sports cameras:

I would like tests that incl following comparison:

AF speed and tracking of moving subject

High ISO IQ special at 6400, 12800 and 102400

They claim that the Canon is better now at metering with flash, compare that also

Then finally IQ

SOLD! (now, to sell my soul for money I need for it and good glass)... Looks like Nikon has pretty much solved the rolling shutter problem. Now all they need is a 1080p 60/30/24 fps mode...........

Yeah, apparently I heard the 1DS is nowhere near as good as the D3S when it comes to high ISOs? Can anyone confirm that? I read that in the comments.
