Anyone have a tilted menu screen? I've reset everything that can be reset and it's still tilted. Pictures come out straight, so that's a good thing.

Edited to add:

LOL......I feel like such the idiot. After seeing the picture I saw it was my protective cover on the back that was tilted. Problem solved......LOL

No, its the Exposure Delay like PB PM said and the OP agreed.

DaveO, you use it when you've got your camera on a tripod and you don't have a remote. It lets you reduce camera shake from your hand depressing the trigger button. A remote with mirror-lock on is preferable to also avoid internal shake from mirror slap, but in a pinch the Exposure Delay mode is a life saver.

It's called quiet mode. Big shutter lag, somewhat quieter, but more annoying shutter sound.

If you set it to manual focus and snap a photo does it shoot any faster ? I am just trying to eliminate a focusing issue.

The usual question .. is the battery well charged ?
Does it do this with every lens you own ?

Help! I have just picked up my year old D7000 Not having dropped it or changed any settings that I can recall and it will no longer take a photo quickly. It takes a second for the shutter to open and another to close when I shoot. It does the same thing in CL and CH mode. Clearly I am not very technically proficient so any advice would be welcome.
Thanks all.
