it's no longer open :) - there's a D4 thread already open and there's one thread for deliveries also.

While the thread is till still open... I ordered from B&H in Feb. I bought one 3 weeks ago from the Nikon store on-line. For me B&H would have been a better deal because of the sales tax, but I became impatient.

Thanks for joining the forum. The question is no offence, don't worry.
The first D4's were available on the market in April '12. I am not sure about Canada, but I see them selling off the shelf in stores in Europe and Asia.
The D800 was actually released much later, the availability seems to be still low in some areas.

The D800 has this all combined for better or worse. D4 is separate by store.

Amazingly there isn't just a D4 thread nor a general D4 Orders.

I would suggest a title change to "D4 - Waiting lists" Or simply "D4 - How long are people waiting?"

Usually the actual camera name is for general info on a camera.

That said - haven't seen anything lately.

Hi I ordered a Nikon D4 from Vistek here in Toronto as I been reading your topics but they are a month or more old. Has anyone know if anyone has gotten their D4's yet or when Nikon will be shipping out more stock to camera stores. I notice some stores are now getting the D800 in stock but no word on the D4. I know the D800 is in high demand as well but I am hopping since it's 1/2 the price of the D4 more D4's will be ready soon. Getting any information from Nikon themselves is like pulling teeth as I am in dire need of a camera as my D700 is out getting a new shutter and no word on that as well!
