LOL Niko... I remember that commercial.

For any of your yanks out there... Pace is quite possibly the worst salsa on the planet and in no way reflects the opinions or views of Texans and how they feel salsa should taste.

Sorry about questioning you Bernard, it seemed to be a bit weird to be going to Texas just for camera gear. Hope you get some nice shots at Midland!

Actually NikoDoby, I am from NY.

... awkward silence. :D

Howdy Partner!
Looks like Odessa Camera is going to be your best bet Bernard. It's not that far (for Texas) from the Midland Airport. The few customer reviews (2) that I read weren't good though. They don't seem to like people who only go in to browse. But if your buying two D3X, I'm sure they'll pick you up at the airport :^)
Is there anything in particular that your looking for?

Hey NSXType-R, your not from New York either and you always shop at B&H Photo don't you? ;^)
Everything's BIGGER and BETTER in TEXAS!

I'm going to Midland for an air show and I shall have some time for shopping. That's why I asked. I know there used to be a Circuit City, even though their prices were high, but they had a good choice. But since they've closed down, I don't think there is anything left there.

Willis, thanks for the Odessa Camera Center. I will have a look for sure. We're not going through Austin at all unfortunately, but I shall keep that in my files. Thanks !

If you make it to Austin (and I recomend that you do) check out percision camera. The pricing isn't all that great (compared to amazon at least), but they have an excellent staff and selection of gear. A qucik google search of midland didn't turn up anything. You would probably have better luck in Odessa.

You might try Odessa Camera Center - http://www.odessacamera.com/

Not really sure why you would specifically go to Texas for camera gear. Perhaps they have lower tax than other states?

I'm not from Texas, so I wouldn't know about the tax situation down there.

Howdy !
I'm going to Texas for two weeks, starting Saturday. Mainly in Midland. Does anyone know a good camera shop up there, with lots of accessories in stock ?
