If it shows up as a coloured blimp at low ISO, I understand your concern. If it shows up white on high ISO or when you crank up exposure in post, accept it.

Hi Guys,

I had pickup my D800 last week and I had check the dead pixel with the D800 LCD mon in the camera store, I have not notice any dead pixel at 1st, after using it 2days I had transfer all the image from the camera to the PC and I realize that I have 2 hot pixel for picture which under exposure, and then I check with the testing picture that I took when i pickup the camera, I have notice that there are 2 white dot on it. And finally i had sent back fore repair or replacement. I just want people in here to aware that you have to check the camera very very very very carefully because the MP is too high and it is really hard to notice the dead pixel even with monitor.
