I got one from Best Buy on opening day. A little detective work and a lot of luck was involved. I found out quickly that new, quality lenses are going to be needed to fully exploit what this camera can do. It is making my $100 28-105mm look pretty good until then.

Got mine march 22 from a local NID dealer in the US and I am not an NPS member. Look thru the main blog, there was an article about this last week.

As the title , Any Non-NPS member get the D800 yet ?
I called my Canada dealer today and they told me no non-nps member will get the D800 anytime soon. I want to know if it is real or not
