			<description><p>Hi Mike, I recommend you do a forum search as there are several existing  threads that will answer your question. In summary, unless you need a large card for one shoot or for video, several smaller cards are better than 1 big one for the reason you cite.  They also tend to be cheaper. Secondly, you seem to get what you pay for. SanDisk and Lexar are forum favourites. As I say, the reasons for this are covered extensively in other posts.

			<description><p>Hi everyone.</p>
<p>     I have maybe a silly question for you all. In your experiences, what make and size sd and cf memory cards would you recomend. At the moment I am using sandisk 2gb cards in my D40 and my sons D3000. But in the near future I will be upgrading to either the new D800 or D700 whichever suits my needs and usage better. So I will also be buying some more cards. I have been advised against using large cards in case they get corrupted and I loose all my photos. So my question is, what size cards would you recomend, and can you suggest a certain make that has performed well for you.</p>
