but beware, digital photography, is moving at such a blistering rate, most books are out of date, before they are written. For photoshop and lightroom Matt Kloskowski vidios are hard to beat. You will find him on FB

For me one the biggest advantages of digital cameras is that it is free to click and learn. The art doesn't change much, just the science behind it.

They are not free and I am not sure if I can mention the company without breaking the advertising rules but there is a guy called Kelby who does some excellent on line Training videos covering just about everything you need to know

As adamz says, operating a digital camera is not that different to film but there is a lot to learn in "post production" this is what we used to call "developing"

If are used to working in a darkroom do have a look at program called Lightroom

welcome to the forum zoran, I personally doesn't know any free online tutorials for switching from analog to dslr. For me this transition was very easy as my last analog was F100 and my first dslr was D200 - both of them were very similar. So my tip for You is to play with the new camera as much as You can. Digital is not that different from analogue, it's just another medium that saves You some money on processing :) and give instant results in the field.

Im transitioning from an F60 to some NIKON dslr, probably the D7000 but haven't made up my mind yet. Are there any video tutorials that can help me for this transition (analogue to digital) and also for shiiting techniques etc.
