I love mine too. And even if I am to do some kind of retirement pro second career stuff in a few years. I'm not sure I would go FX, might get a D7700 by then and keep the D7000 as a second body.

Nice I'm not too surprised its a wonderful camera and super light compared to the FX bodies. I think many more awards are forthcoming for the D7000. Can't wait until some of the technology rolls down the product line for Nikon.

Well now,

The Register (aka: El Reg, at theregister dot co dot uk) has voted the D7000 as its 'editors choice' in the 2011 hardware gift guide.
