i think i'll hold off for now, even though i shoot at 2.8 most of the time, recently i've been in situations where i had to go down to f2, so i think the 1.8 will stay with me ( i'd rather not carry two of similar focal lengths around with me )

<p>i guess i should say that i already have the 105mm vr, and the main reason that i can see to get this lens is the closer focus distance. 50mm are stuck at .45 m focus distance lol..
