<description><p>love this lens also. I got it soon after I bought my first camera(d60) and it is quite sharp. the dof can make it hard to use at times, but its part of the fun. my favorite lens so far :D

<description><p>White balance was auto and there were three different types of light bulbs in the room. It's the best the D90 could do I guess.

			<description><p>Looks good enough for me!</p>
<p>Thanks for the sample pictures!</p>
<p>And not really nitpicking, but sort of am at the same time, is the white balance a bit off in the picture?

<description><p>No, I haven't yet got one of these but my roommate did! We tested it out on my D90:</p>
<p>At 1.8, it's sharp only in the center as the shallow DOV does not do well for corners:<br />
<a href="http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v359/acecool/?action=view&#38;current=test.jpg"><img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v359/acecool/test.jpg" alt="Photobucket" /></a></p>
<p>At 2.8, it's a bit more sharp overall. Granted these shots are hand held at not the highest shutter speeds.<br />
<a href="http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v359/acecool/?action=view&#38;current=35test.jpg"><img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v359/acecool/35test.jpg" alt="Photobucket" /></a></p>
<p><a href="http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v359/acecool/?action=view&#38;current=35test2.jpg"><img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v359/acecool/35test2.jpg" alt="Photobucket" /></a></p>
<p>I definitely need to get myself one of these. It shows the nice saturated colors I like very well and is rather sharp. It seems to perform like a 1000 dollar lens. If Nikon keeps doing things like this, they will corner the market!
