So where does this fit in? Maybe he didn't invent the CCD, but successfully applied the CCD?

I'm wondering what the sensor was made of in the digital camera that was in the original post.

I just looked up his bio, really interesting. They could make him the definition of irony as he changed the future of the company he works for, and not in a positive way.

By the way, I wonder if he's in the Nikon or Canon camp. For all we know, he may not care about photography at all.
