Thanks for the offer but found a way around it.
If you click on the Rumor heading you get sent to the page WITH the comments, just can't add.
e.g. http://nikonrumors.com/2009/06/11/nikon-d300s-lcd-screen-leaked.aspx
May be worth changing the greyed out "Comments Closed" text to a "View Comments" link going to the same place as the heading.

Sorry if this has been covered before - can't see it.

I understand why the site would need to close off adding new comments on rumors - but it's a shame that we can't even see the old comments. Was going to look up something I remember was posted there before only to find I couldn't access them.
