You got some dust on your sensor. What camera do you have?

There are two methods for cleaning the sensor, one is dry, one is wet.

On my D70s I used both with no problems at all, the dry when the dust is not "glued" to the sensor and the wet when the first method did not work.

To check if you need to clean, take a photo, with a bigger aperture F number (Above F22), on a white wall, I usually move the camera while I take the photo, focused on infinite when you are only a few feet from the wall, in this way, the spots will be visible on the photo.

The dry method consist in using a "Giotto Rocket Blower" (Don't use blower that is not for photography, and also do not use the cheap ones, that may add more dust than clean): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=huOdzpl534k

Take in mind, that you need a Sensor Swat that is suitable for your camera.

Yeah, it's pretty normal actually.. You can have it professionaly cleaned, some cameras have a feature built in to 'shake' off the dust - check your manual.

that looks like dust/dents of some sort. When i get these i use my lens pen and/or my giottos rocket blower. Since you said that the front of the lens was clear, maybe its the back lens element? If the dust is really inside the lens and it bothers you enough, i would take it to get professionally cleaned.

Recently I've been noticing a couple small spots on the pictures I've been taking. I don't know if it's because I recently bought a second lens so dust is getting inside (this seems to be the most logical reason to me) so I'm trying to figure out how to clean it safely. I know it's not the lenses as I have filters on them and took photos both with and without the filter to see if it was just a dirty filter, so it's not that. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
