This is Jennifer. I usurped Craig's account, LOL. Actually, he is letting me blog here about the video and what is coming next.

The first thing I want to say is thanks everyone who said they like my art. I love what I do. I hope that is obvious.

Next week I am going to the largest street painting festival in North America, if not the world, in Lake Worth, FL.

Also, for those of you in Ireland, I will be traveling to Dublin at the end of August to participate in a new event, as the only N.A. artist.

For those of you within traveling distance of Branson, MO, USA, I will be at the Silver Dollar City theme park during the month of October.

If you like my art please go to my web page and "like" me from your Facebook account.

Thanks. Craig has an idea for one more video this spring.

XOXO, Jennifer

Excellent. I'm also truly amazed how people can "see" things in their minds, and transform to images like these.

micron49:

Thanks for the comments. Jennifer is a third generation artist. She has the gene. Her Grandfather was an art professor at Hunter College in Brooklyn, NYC.

FYI - here is a short video of Jennifer's daughter - a fourth generation artist - who also has the gene. Notice the braids in the hair (of the art) that was tough to do - to make it look like braids. Also shot on the D90.

You're vid is excellent. Love how you moved the camera to get different perspectives (the messy hands were nice) and all the celebration at the end. Great job!

As for the art, I will always remain in awe or artists (some on this board as well). I may one day perfect the formulae, rules and technique...but the art cannot be taught.

My lady is an artist and a street painter.

The art in the video below is actually trapezoid in shape on the street.

Through the magic of the camera lens it becomes rectangular.

Jennifer's original art is an old timey postcard from the 1950's style.

Below is the final product from last weekends community event.

Twelve hours of street painting reduced to about four minutes.

The final edit is about 760 frames and about three hours of editing - making up the 4+ minute time lapse video.

Shot with a Nikon D90 and 18-105 and Tokina 12-24. Scatchi timer used - set at 1 minute interval.

She had fun, the crowd had fun, the kids had fun.

The Town of Jupiter people loved my video and Jennifer's art.

It may load slowly, it is in HD.

Critiques are OK so I can do better next time.

Enjoy!
