My first reaction was to (finally) get an FX DSLR, but I only just got a D7000, so perhaps I'll actually wait and see what comes out later in the year.

I am tempted to get a P&S from the new batch of low-end junk just to pop into my shirt/coat pocket but none of it is too expensive... so perhaps, once I see test shots that is...

I was thinking this week wouldn't be too busy, what with the bad weather we just had and one thing and another, and I was only doing one paid for day of photo related stuff this week ...

Suddenly - out of literally NOWHERE - I have three potential new photo clients, two new assignments booked into the diary for next month, a potential booking for a couple of weeks away (must get on with trying to line that up) as well as another for October (yes, that far away, which kid of surprised me) and now I find myself working Saturday evening (and no, it's NOT a wedding) with my trusty bag of Nikon gear.

And I don't (yet?) call myself a 'pro' at this ... Maybe next year and my accountant will be working **much** harder for her money if this kind of thing keeps up?
