Never look there. I mainly look at Ebay, KEH, and rangefinder forum.

One thing is for sure, Canon has more lens options. There are allot of 2 consumer and 2 pro (F2.8 & F4 or weather sealed) lenses at different focal lengths. Ad that with Bjrichus comment on market share. Many canon users are moving up or down depending on needs. Nikon just doesn't have a large line that is in the middle ground.

I don't think you can make conclusions about satisfaction based on used items for sale on a site. I know many Canon users who love their glass and tout it as better than any other companys'. If someone is confidant in the tools they use than that gives them confidence to be able to make great images no matter the brand.

Perhaps it is more a case of the market share that Canon has that gives that impression?

More Canon than Nikon out there, as they seem to know how to sell (both to consumers and to many magazine editors) better than Nikon, who seem to concentrate (I wrote 'focus' there but realized the pun) on those who actually USE the gear for a living... Just my 2c worth...

I don't really see that big of a difference. Granted I usually am signed in and only have Nikon items for sale so I was unaware that more Canon gear was being sold.

Anyone noticed that theres huge amount of Canon gear for sale on Fred and Miranda and not a lot of Nikon stuff?

Does this mean that Nikon users are happier with their equipment?

Or is it just that the Nikon gear is so much better that you do not want to sell?
