With a D3S behind it the f-stop might not be such a hindrance.

Focal length is impressive, but you need some really bright conditions (sunny summer afternoon) to use it at 1750mm @F21.

any thoughts on the Nikon FSA-L2 fieldscope attachment.

It allows you to attach Nikons spotting scope to DSLR for birding and nature photography.

3.5x zoom with aperture of f5.9-f21

500 to 1750mm when used with Nikon RDG fieldscopes.

sound interesting for those hard to get birds and wildlife, and, the price for the length does not seem bad at all.

waterproof nitrogen filled fogproof lens

anyone tried it?
