i think Durex should make an antivirus software lol i bet it would sell loads i can see the ad campaigns in my head, we can help protects against STD's and trojan's lol

The link that MSMOTO removed certainly did have some viruses...will lose me several days of time restoring everything on my work computer :(

@rschnaible....I agree 100 percent....It's just that for the time being.....I'm going with the lesser of two evils.....nothing is un-hackable,as Mac-Heads have recently found out ;-)

I have just opened my PC again and gone to the NR main page and guess what? Same again.

Can we get a comment from admin or a moderator on this subject please? I scrub my PC clean, visit plenty of other sites with no problem, come here and voila.

I use Ad Block Plus and No Script on Firefox, so nothing will likely run unless I okay it first.

I just had a warning from MSE that I had two trojan downloaders appear on my PC while browsing NR. Coincidentally I just did a full scan Thursday evening and this warning came up when I turned the PC on first thing and went straight to NR. I cleaned them off and all is OK now.

I give the above a 95% probability rating.

All issues should already be fixed. Can you please clear your browser's cache and try it again. Let me know if anyone is still having issues. Of course all this happens when I am out of town.

Clean your site it's infected and has nothing to do with cache, cheques or credit cards !

That's an affirmative. I got a trojan waring as well. And yes my cache was cleaned out and it still appeared.

My ESET Smart Security just quarantined a trojan, when I entered the NR forum.

Yep no more NR at work for me. Virus attacked my computer while at work this morning. Since I have no admin rights I had to contact the IT people and tell them about it. I think it didn't allow anything to run, but scared me a little. Popped up with a green virus scan icon and kept "scanning" and showing viruses found. Then it proceeded to keep asking me if I wanted to use some virus scan something and tried opening pages in IE. Anyway...not good for work.

That, anotherviewfinder, is about the most depressingly jaded view of Windows security I've heard in a while.

According to the weekly summary post on the blog, our 'leader' will be away for much of the week, so we might need to simply put up with it until after the holiday week....
