			<description><p>Not sure if this would solve your problem or not, but I've noticed a few posts on here where people have had issues similar to yours because the contacts on the lens weren't lining up with the contacts on the camera. Sometimes just giving the lens a slight, gentle turn might be enough to solve your problem.</p>

			<description><p>yes! the aperture ring is set to f22! the camera few times shot few times not shot... when put the lens the focus ring is blocked... the camera recognize the AF lens... but go to CRASH!!! the camera dont work... and i must power off to make work it.

			<description><p>Is this the older version of the 28-300 with an aperture ring? If so make sure you lock the aperture at f22 otherwise the camera won't fire.
