Before somebody sues me,those aren't my images lol...just a quick google image search to see what others were using for the type of image you described.
I use a 24mm as my go to wideangle lens, just don't frame faces in the corners and you'll be just fine...maybe hire a lens instead of buying and you can find the best one for your needs?

Wow, didn't realize I had to go that wide (16-24mm range). Come to think of it, the last pic I took in a vehicle was with a 28mm. I was hoping a 35mm would do it, as that would be better for my interior room shots than any wider.

Nice shots broxibear; that 2nd one is a stunner.

I think if I go under 28mm, I would no doubt get some distortion.

Not sure if it's overkill, but the 14-24 2.8 should do it, as long as it's in your price range.

I don't have any wide angle lenses ATM. Was wondering if anyone knew a good focal length (in full frame) that can get someone in the shot in the driver's seat of a car, when you are sitting in either the passenger seat or the back seat. You don't have to get their whole body, head to toe, but a reasonable framing of the person.

I was considering the 35mm f2, and my other issue is barrel distortion. I want the least possible distortion, so are there any other lenses to consider that will give the least distortion? Besides the vehicle interior shots, I will be doing some interior shots in small rooms as well.
