just like Nikon, canon is making more and more things outside Japan, all while standing and speed walking

Are you sure working conditions in the factories Nikon has outsourced to Thailand and China are all that great? At least Canon still make their stuff in Japan.

Here's an article about the work conditions at Canon HQ. Employee's aren't allowed to have chairs or sit while on the job. They must speed walk down the halls or a horn and flashing lights will go off! Not only does Nikon make better cameras but they have happier employees too.
