<p>The company has a new model out the USB-WR2000 </p>

<p>All I did was cut the power connector off the wall plug and solder it to a 4 cell AA pack I got from radio shack.  Put the whole mess into a old case from a nikon coolpix 950 with the USB cable to the coming out the top.  </p>
<p>Load the software into your computer 1st.  Then turn on the portable with a switch on the battery case.  Plug in the computer adapter.  In 10 seconds it's ready to go.  Plug in the USB cable to your camera and turn it on.  It should be shown as connected within seconds.  </p>
<p>Range with the case in my pocket about 30 feet.  It acts just like a cable is attached and speed is excellent.</p>
<p>I worked with a WT-1 and WT-2 and this is better.  </p>
