Right, you can take just a bout anything and turn it into a pinhole, that's why they are so much fun

You can take your Nikon and make it into a Pinhole camera, too.

Get a reversing ring and put an opaque piece of material in it and pierce a pinhole in the center of it.

In manual exposure, try a few longer exposures.

It works pretty good.

I agree with foofiebeast.

Making a dslr is quite impressive but I'd love to use the battlefield and print the results.. Epic large format pinhole with all its weaknesses.

yeah I remember that, it was very impressive, but I didn't much see the point. It was a cool idea, and technically EXTREMELY impressive, but the design and artistic vision behind that pinhole design is just so cool!

that being said, you'd have to be nuts to machine your own slr.
