I changed also the edit post function - now you can edit your posts up to 24 hr after posting it, after that the edit button will disappear.

monty11: Oh I see, let me look into this.

olddudders: you can change your password, just follow those steps:

1. click on your name on the top left (where it says Welcome .... !)
2. click on the edit button under the NikonRumors Forum title or just click on the link "edit this information"

Suggestion for the forum: If possible, then make all links open in a new window, it would make viewing somewhat more comfortable :)

My only concern is the impossible password, which will regularly get nuked by my PC, so I will have to keep looking for several characters that I didn't even know were available on a QWERTY keyboard! Can we not have a facility to change it for something that we old dimmos can remember?

If you have an idea for a new forum, let me know - topics you can add yourself.

I have to say one more thing - excellent crowd on the forum so far: I did not have to delete a single post! Thank you! Just fyi - this forum has the "bozo" option - if someone is marked as a bozo, nobody else will see their posts... pretty cool.

Thank you all. I got so far 4 complains about the black background. I can easily change it to white, but then it will not be the NikonRumors colors. Let me play with it - maybe I can make just the text fields white and the rest of the background black.

OK -- I'm sure it's obvious and I'm just brain dead today, but how do I edit my profile to add a picture. After all, I've gotten a haircut since the "profile" image for my profile was done !!
