Transfer seems to import much faster than lightroom

I wasn't aware that Lightroom will import them.

I will try to use it now.

Did a reinstall of transder and working now.

Lightroom will import them as NEF with basically unlimited renaming options, Gavin. Transfer seems redundant to me, but is there some advantage to it that I'm missing?

I have Nikon Tarnsfer 1.5.0

I am experiencing an issue that is quite frustrating.

When Uploading from my cameras, the program is seeing double the number od photos that are there and is uploading file abc01 and also abc01_01 which is a copy.

It does this, both to both my normal and my backup drive. Whilst I have a program that finds and deletes duplicates, this is all extra work.

I think it's just one of the settings, my cameras are not duplicating the images.
