Ryan Brenizer used it here and reviewed the lens. The pictures are amazing but at the price I be hard pressed to buy it over a 24-70mm unless you had it already.

It's a good lens but the price kills the justification unless you shoot for profit. I think you should invest in your baby girl's college fund instead ;^)

I agree with clillja- you might need to eat your own words depending on what Nikon decides to unveil on us within the next year or so.
