Adam, when did you try it last? If it wasn't in the last 6 months I'd give it another go because they completely overhauled the interface. I use it instead of photoshop CS4 because it's easier to use and takes less time. If you're interested, John, there was another thread about this:

unfortunately, You need more time than expected to make hugin work the way You want - at least that was my case with this software; the good aspect is that it's totally free

I am actually looking for such stitching and stacking software. My friend baught a HP scanner that came with a panorama maker but that will not install in my Windows 7. Same for the software that came with my old Coolpix 8800. I have yet to try installing them in compatibility mode.

Well if you are a rich collector then yeah, but you'd probably already have one anyway so you wouldn't buy another. This lens was pretty much for scientific and industrial use only. It's pretty much impractical for "everyday" use. And you can achieve the same fish eye effect now by stitching photos together with software so you don't really need it.

Yes that's the 6mm f2.8 Nikkor from the 70's. This has been posted several times already. That guy has been trying to sell it for a couple of years now, but at over $34,000 he'll probably be trying for a few more years. Every time someone see's it on ebay they always link to it.
