Is anyone else having problem with this so called "fixed" version of NX2?

When I open a new NEF file and save it without any edits or changes it starts out with over 70MB of temporary cache. When ever I try to do some editing is always crashes and I lose all my work. I have sent numerous copies of the crash report to Nikon and Apple over the last three months!!! Nikon tried a few "fix" suggestions that didn't work and then said they have passed it onto Japan. Now the only response I get from Nikon is "we haven't heard anything yet". I love the software's editing features and I had the usual bugs that others have noted in the past, but the major problems all started when I upgraded to OSX 10.6 (Snow Leopard). I downloaded the 2.2.4 version from the Nikon website and that did not fix the problem.

I am getting very frustrated. Help!...........
