Looks like bmxdad was right. He was just looking for attention and setting up an April fool's joke. Some of his "followers" are pissed and don't think it was funny.

That's why I'm thinking it's probably a new film or maybe an EVIL type camera. Remember when Bob Krist mentioned he had some new stuff he couldn't talk about. People assumed it was the new D4 or D800 camera. Or that he was using a new Sony Zeiss equipped camera. Turned out "just" to be the new 24mm and F4 zoom lens from Nikon.

Jeff Ascough a well know canon shooter has mentioned on his twitter page that he is "testing" a new rangefinder.

"Week 2 with a new stealth camera. I am under NDA at the moment as to who makes it but I can tell you that it is a brand new rangefinder."

It could actually be a new film rangefinder from Bessa but apparently it's NOT a Nikon :^( Either way it's pretty stupid for him to tell the world he's testing a new camera but he's under NDA not to say anything.
