Thanks guys for compliments. Kind of wish that I would have switched to higher ISO. I was shooting at 800. It would have been a bit sharper. Alas will remember for the next time.

Yes, I was only able to hang it onto the door of the built-in wardrobe this way due to the damage of the wrist band. This way I was able to catch the light of the setting Sun, using the walls of the rooms to give edge light. It is more of a demo of vignetting of the 18-70 @62mm with Raynox DCR-250 attached. With 18-55, I find no vignetting above 24mm.

This picture is 500x332 from my flickr. Is this the size you want? Incidently, this is a roseate spoonbill from a few days ago.

You are welcome my dear “poster”, love the picture by the way. I hope html tag strings I managed to embed in my post after 15 minutes of coding will be helpful to you and others who are having trouble posting they work to this forum.
As for size of pictures, I have wide monitor with 1440 resolution so I have no problems with even larger images, but, as adamz posted, it is hard to browse through gigantic pictures in my opinion. It does not have to be size I proposed, maybe we should agree on 700 widest image or whatever, but I think that posting picture higher then 500 is really too much.
And where is admin for pits sake? Maybe he has to say something about this, and It is June for a couple of days now but we are stuck in May edition of Photo-a-day.

I have a standard 19" display and the bookmaks bar open all the time and i have no scrolling with images up to 700 in width. (I'm just posting this 'cause I've so grown used to using 700px for my web scaledowns :P).

I wonder if the admin is on a sabbatical?

I agree with mb - maybe not 300 by 500 for all pictures but let's say let it will be not wider than 500 when it's a landscape photo and not longer than 300 in portrait, it's only because it's hard to browse through this pictures when everyone are posting different sizes.

Why that size? I think everyone uses a size that works well for them.

If I may suggest that we all try to standardize on pictures of about 300 by 500 and posting a link to a larger image if anyone is interested.
