			<description><p>Yes, except the 80-200 also doesn't vignette when used with an FX (Full Frame) sensor like the 70-200 can when used wide open. This has been widely reported and I for one am glad I am still using my 10+ year old 80-200 / 2.8 Non-VR lens. If Nikon updates the 70-200 at some point I will reconsider. Until then, unless you need the absolute fastest focusing speed and you have an FX camera, just bump the ISO up a stop or two and you'll get pretty much the same effect and save yourself a good $700 or more.

tripod ring but it is not removable. If you can get one for $850 or less grab it. The results are the same as the 70-200 without the VR but it is half the price used.
