Love it! I hoe Nikon Comes out with something like this. Otherwise I see no reason to get this Olympus camera. Seriously I played around with Zuiko lenses and I can't say I found anything wrong with them. Quite sharp wide open. Though i am mainly looking at primes here.

Definitely an EVIL camera is making my birthday wishlist.

Can't wait to check the epl1. If its AF is snappier than the one from EP1 than I guess we gonna have a winner. Can't wait also to see what pany will show us in the new GH versions.

I've said this before, and I'll say it again. I believe all manufactures will replace their entry level DSLRs with EVIL cameras within the next year or two. If they do not, Olympus, Panasonic and Samsung will continue eat away at their market share and brands like Canon and Nikon could fade into the past, or become cameras, just for "Pro" shooters.

Olympus has officially unveiled the E-PL1. It's the first "affordable" EVIL camera at $599. That's $100 near the price of the canon G11 and Pany LX3! So what do you think will happen next? Are point & shoots like the G11/LX3 super over priced? Are they going to have to come down in price ($200-300) to compete? Are bulky DSLRs going to move up in price and features to differentiate from the coming onslaught of lower priced EVIL cameras? EVIL cameras have been a major success for Panasonic/Olympus.
