That is so underhanded the way they have their terms of use set up. People see them as being this hero of the anti-copyright movement, but they're actually trying to avoid legal attacks on themselves by passing it off to their 'contributors.' Here's hoping they're still liable in spite of that. How could they argue that they expect their users to obey the terms of use when the whole premise of the magazine runs counter to the idea of intellectual property rights?

WTF?! Pilfered uses the notion of "if you put it on the internet then anyone can use it" to create it's magazine. This is absolutely crazy! Viewers/readers are encouraged to submit other peoples photos that they find on the internet. They do not credit the original photographer in any way!

Their motto is, "By The People, For The People"
