If you've used a WT-4a with a D3, and can report on the sustained rate for transferring 14 bit compressed NEFs (e.g., shoot a burst of 5-10, how long to transfer all of them?), I'd be very grateful.

Also, any insight on whether Nikon will add 802.11n support to a future wireless transmitter? Given the supposed massive increase in speed, this would seem like an obvious thing to do . . .

And assuming this doesn't happen anytime soon, how hard would it be to build something out of a batter pack and a USB 802.11n dongle?
