Word on the street is we should have some sort of new announcement by early February. Who knows when it will be available.

I was thinking the same thing. I was expecting this rumored camera was for PMA. But with all the activity maybe it will be announced at CES.

I noticed that Canon is not even attending PMA this year and that Nikon is being honored at CES later this week. Might we see an announcement sooner rather than later, with availability in late February? One CES comment at link below.
