The amateur missed the shot.

The advanced amateur may, or may not have gotten the shot. If he got it, he posted it on the web and all he got was "Oh, cool".

The pro got the shot and made money from it.

The difference between amateur and pro ...is the pro has to take other peoples crap.

Cannot say much about what was happening, think you get the drift ...they were 1.5mtr away and I could see the veins on his neck popping.

I'm with Phil. I must be an e-pro (meaning a pro to all my online friends). BTW, that is one of my favorite Beck songs—it has a great cadence for hills on my bike.
